| I truly miss this site. I can't believe that I am in Oz now... I have been to Australia before in 2002, but this time I am actually living here and getting the real experience like no other. I am living in Sydney. I am making the most of my money and time, going on a lot of day trips and exploring every nook and cranny of Sydney. I will get to see Melbourne and Jervis Bay, and possibly Cape Byron (tho I've been there before). I just can't do Easter Break in Fiji or New Zealand.. I don't know where all the Coogee kids (other study abroad students who live in Coogee...where I originally had housing) are getting the money to do all these big trips. I am just living the "simple" life and really enjoying it a lot. I'm pretty busy all the time with classes, working on assessments and preparation for tutorials, exploring, etc.
I'll try to keep this thing up... it gets pretty boring when no one reads or comments on it though.
| Well you know, I forget about these sites and I'll randomly revive them again... so I'm living the REAL college life now; dorms, roommate, parties..92 Court William St... Stewart's! lol! I've been home twice sadly, and I'm looking to leave so soon!- next semester I'm probably studying in Australia (waiting for my acceptance letter from UNSW), and I'm thinking of transferring somewhere else next fall (Oneonta has the same dual certification program I'm in here). My problem is I like change. I don't mean changing majors, I'm pretty set on that and have been since I was about 8...but I like a change of scenery and people ya know?
till next time...adios
| Miracles have happened. My internet is back up to par!
Wednesday I saw Guess Who at the theaters before work with Ruchira and Jody.
Thursday i....i.... I got nothing lol.
Friday Bill came over and we went to lunch and threw the football around out back because it was sooo nice out! 8-) Later I went to Sarah's belated bday dinner and hung out with her and Joel afterwards.
Saturday my parents and I visited Plattsburgh again and met up with Mr. Laundry (Vice President of Student Affairs & Dean of Students)! He showed me a couple of the residence halls I didn't see last time and let me in on a new program they are establishing~ I'll get to that later. Then he took us to his favorite place for lunch, his treat! I got some great info. on the new program I've been accepted into (Early Childhood Education/Childhood Education- it's a dual certification) and some other things. I'm very excited about attending Plattsburgh!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sunday a whole bunch of nothing.
Today I dragged my ass back to campus after a sweet 13 dayss *boo* but it wasn't so bad... Andy and I met up on campus during my two-hr break and we watched this weird movie in Western Civ, but it was stupid funny so I enjoyed the nice ease back into the semester. Only 6 more weeks!!
Later gators, I must practice reading aloud a Scooby-Doo book! We're being graded on expressive voice in Public Speaking [class is tonight] and since most of us are education majors our prof. asked us to prepare a children's book I <3 college.
